Beverly
Ritz, Children's Minister
“Helping
Kids Shine for Jesus” is the desire and the mission statement for the Children’s
Ministry of the North Pointe Church. It is based on Philippians 2:15 where the
apostle Paul refers to Christians as shining stars in a dark world. That
scripture is a favorite of our children’s minister, Beverly Ritz.
Beverly is a graduate of Abilene Christian University. She has a daughter, Ryan,
who is married and lives in Searcy, Arkansas. Beverly serves as a group
facilitator for /Dallas Kids Grief Works/ sponsored by the agency, Christian
Works for Children. She works with children ages 9 to 12 who have experienced
the death of a close family member.
Children’s ministry is obviously very meaningful to her life. She loves our
children, and she believes that all children are special and gifted.
Her goal is to see help children develop a personal relationship
with Jesus so they can “Shine” for Him.
