Sunday Morning Bible Classes

At North Pointe Church of Christ we have wonderful, caring Bible class teachers who love to teach and who love our children!

Babies up to 18 months listen as Cradle Roll teachers sing of God’s love and His creation. The soft singing and bright colorful toys and visuals help babies absorb the wonder and love of God. Your baby will enjoy our Cradle Roll Class, and you will be so pleased when one of the first word’s your baby says is Bible.

Toddlers (18 to 24 Months) and Two Year Olds have their own unique way of learning. Our curriculum has been designed to help them as they begin learning basic Bible stories.

Preschoolers will enjoy learning the Bible with a hands-on approach to teaching.

Kindergarten through fifth graders will engage in Bible stories through an interactive curriculum that stimulates learning and makes it fun!

Fellowship

As parents pick their children up from Bible class children can enjoy donuts and juice in the cafeteria area. Children are present for the beginning of the adult worship service and are usually dismissed during a song for our Children’s Worship.

Saving for God’s House

During our weekly contribution, our children participate in worship as they put their money in a star shaped bank at the front of our auditorium representing the mission theme of their children’s ministry shine like stars in the universe.  This is a highlight of our worship time together and children as well as adults look forward to it. Seeing our children give their money to God is truly a blessing as well as a wonderful way to teach stewardship on a weekly basis. Guests are welcome to participate, but are in no way obligated to do so.

Nursery

A nursery is provided during the worship assembly time for children ages 0 to ages 2 ½.  Mid year we will promote 2 ½ year olds to Children’s Worship.  Loving, caring nursery attendants will care for your children during the worship assembly.  Beepers are provided and parents can be paged immediately if they are needed.

Children’s Worship

Children are dismissed to Children’s Worship from the main assembly at the appropriate time. Children’s Worship is designed for children to worship God on their level. Children ages 2 ½ through pre-kindergarten will enjoy singing, puppets Bible stories and activities.

The primary purpose of the Children’s Worship for the elementary age students K, 1st and 2nd grade is to teach them more about worship. This time is spent helping children learn what worship is and how we do it. Children sing, pray and learn more of God’s word and His will for their lives.

Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders can help in our Children’s Worship on a rotating basis. They are encouraged to begin learning to participate in the adult worship time.

Sundays

Children meet for their Sunday night service club, Shining Servants, at the same location as their parents, 1216 Chestnut Hill Drive, Wylie, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Shining Servants Club

    Children have the opportunity to shine for Jesus by participating in a Sunday night service club.  They will concentrate on serving the community, family, friends, the world and their church family.  Fellowship and snack time are also part of the package for the Shining Servants Club which meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Call Ms. Beverly at the church office for more information —  972-424-2414.

Wednesdays

Kindergarten through Fifth graders can be a part of the Children’s Chorus. They meet each Wednesday evening throughout the school year from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. Call Ms. Beverly for more information.

All of our children’s teachers and helpers have been approved and passed a background check. Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us, and we strive to keep our children safe.
